General Terms and Conditions (GTC) of Swiss Food Tours

1.      Where these terms and conditions apply

Our general terms and conditions (GTC) cover the use of our website (www.swissfoodtours.com) as well as your commercial dealings with Swiss Food Tours. For us a client is every natural person or corporate entity that enters into a business relationship with Swiss Food Tours. From time to time we may update the GTC, our  payment and delivery conditions, as well our privacy policies.. When a customer books a tour, he or she implicitly accepts these GTC as well as the payment conditions.

2.      Website

www.swissfoodtours.com provides general information about the services we provide. We may from time to time update information like prices and offerings and technical things on our website. Swiss Food Tours does its best to provide complete, up-to-date and clear information on our website but we cannot guarantee that.

The offerings we describe on the site are suggestions made without any obligation and you should not consider them to be binding quotes.

3.      Prices

Prices quoted by Swiss Food Tours are net in Swiss Francs (CHF). Any services provided that are not in our written confirmation and any additional costs are understood to be borne by the customer.

We are human; there may be technical changes, errors or printing errors which we regret but cannot be liable for. Swiss Food Tours may need to suddenly adapt prices at any time and without advance notice.

4.      Concluding a contract

Our offers are non-binding. The deal is concluded when Swiss Food Tours confirms in writing the client’s written or oral agreement to take part in a tour. This written confirmation will describe the  extent of our offer of services and we assume you have accepted these if we haven not received a written objection within 3 working days.

5.      Payment conditions

Swiss Food Tours reserves the right to refuse your preferred payment method or to insist on pre-payment in full without giving a reason. Payments to Swiss Food Tours must be net of any deduction (cashback, fees, taxes or charges). Payment must be made by Paypal or bank transfer before the tour begins and if the payment is not made, you must expect not to be able to participate in the tour you reserved.

6.      Right to cancellation

You have the right to cancel a tour you have reserved without explanation. This costs nothing if we are informed 72 hours before the tour was to begin; thereafter the following applies: 48 hours before the beginning of the tour, we will charge 25% of the price; after this, we will charge 50% of the price. Swiss Food Tours commits to reimbursing your payment within 72 hours of the cancellation.

 

7.      Liability

Swiss Food Tours will assume no liability for any damages against Swiss Food Tours or any contractors or temporary personnel, for whatever reason. As a participant in the tour, you are responsible for your insurance coverage and Swiss Food Tours assumes no responsibility for accidents or any other liabilities.

 

8.      Privacy policy

Swiss Food Tours may use any personal details collected during the booking process (your name, address, phone number, etc) in order to fulfill its obligations according to the sales agreement as well as for marketing purposes. Such details may be communicated to third parties, such as contracted partners (the guide) or others, in order to make the tour happen.

 

9.      Final provisions

Swiss Food Tours reserves the right to change theses GTC at any time and to implement them without advance notice.

The contractual arrangements between Swiss Food Tours and you are subject to Swiss law exclusively.

The legal venue in case of a legal difference is the legal domicile of Swiss Food Tours.
